I was approached by EZ Covers, a New Zealand-based school book cover manufacturer, to work alongside their team on developing new creative designs and product concepts. My role involves exploring fresh design directions for their range of school book covers and personalised stationery, from researching trends and developing moodboards through to creating original patterns, illustrations and finished artwork. I also work on product mockups and prepare designs for print production, giving me the opportunity to take ideas from the early concept stage through to how they look as a finished product.
